Retention Marketing Specialist (San Diego, California)


Under the supervision of Bioclarity VP of Marketing, conduct specific market and customer research via sur-veys and other customer insights and perform detailed data analysis to help improve company’s retention ef-forts. Review and analyze current market trends in e-commerce and direct-to-consumer to help elevate Bioclari-ty’s consumer experience and increase customer lifetime value. Gather and analyze data on a specific brand's target and present them to the supervisor to support building and implementing an end-to-end consumer expe-rience strategy across the complete consumer journey. Monitor and optimize marketing initiatives to improve Bioclarity’s customer experience across multiple retention channels (email, SMS, loyalty, direct mail). Create monthly reports to report data and findings. Measure marketing KPIs to monitor customer engagement, track performance of campaigns and prepare reports to support the overall retention strategy. Monitor email and other customer marketing retention programs to win back lapsed customers and reduce customer churn. Identi-fy key post-purchase customer touch-points through data analysis to establish a better 1:1 communication with customers during their post-purchase journey. Use data analysis and customer insights to recommend best practices that can drive customer advocacy and help develop personalized customer experiences in the post-purchase journey. Leverage all data and findings to collaborate with, and support different teams (customer service, e-commerce manager, and designers) to execute key initiatives to improve customer experience and satisfaction, and to support company’s overall strategy.


Position requires a Bachelors Degree Business Administration, Marketing, Marketing Research Or Related Field (U.S. or Foreign Equivalent) and two (2) years of experience In Marketing, Retention, Direct-To-Consumer, Digi-tal Marketing or related position. Prior experience must include: One (1) year of experience In Direct-To-Consumer digital marketing and custom-er lifecycle marketing; One (1) year of Experience In CPG brand marketing in the Skincare/Beauty Industry; Market Analysis (Qualitative and Quantitative), Consumer Behavior, Buying Habits; designing, building and im-plementing Emails, videos, surveys, quizzes, Marketing Collateral And Any Other Customer Related Content; proficiency With CRM, marketing automation tools, methodologies and platforms such as Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Yotpo – or other review software platform -, and database visualization tools; Marketing Email and transactional Email; Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign or similar editing software; Launching Multiple Products Within The Same Year Calendar.
